If Moore is such a liar, then why isnt he getting sued?

I know you didn't pay attention to where I said that he DID get sued, but at the very least, you could look that up and find it out.  Oh, and suing someone won't prove or disprove he's an ass hat and/or liar, it'll only demonstrate that lawyers could convince a jury one way or the other.

If you ever saw the TV episode about his restraining order, and how the moment it was lifted he went back and knocked on their door asking to use their toilet, you will know this guy is an ass. Then on The Daily Show where they make fun of the MMHA people and then go and have tea with Moore, that was pretty lame.

However, he still has some valid points, even if he believes that the only way to get them across is to "sex them up". RMS, Jack Thompson and George Bush are all examples where it is too easy to just write them off as a waste of time, despite the fact that some of what they say is really worth thinking about.

As the gnostics say: focus on the message, not the man.

I'm all that and a bag of chips, I know, but eventually someone will eat the chips.

Bowling for Columbine and F 9/11 are documentaries.  To say they're not is like saying that Lion King isn't a feature length animated film just because it sucks.  And there is a lot, probably a majority of material in those movies that is simply presented at face value.  Moore [i[IS[/i] an ass-hat.  He exaggerates and presents partial truths in order to deliberately mislead people into supporting his agenda, which is simply defeat the right-wing.

The thing I hate about Moore is his approach does more harm than good in the end, because people like Drew are able to credibly dismiss EVERYTHING he says as ---That which is odiferous and causeth plants to grow--- by default.  Drew can say, "Oh, MM said it?  Well, that guy's an ass-hat liar so whatever he said is obviously not true."  Drew is probably wrong, but Moore puts Drew in a pretty strong position to make this claim.  Probably 75% of the stuff in F 9/11 is perfectly accurate, but you can only trust 0% cos you can't trust anything that comes out of the mouth of someone so disingenuous, who goes out of his way to mislead his friends (left-wingers).  And with a 25% chance of it being ---That which is odiferous and causeth plants to grow--- you pretty much have to independantly verify each and every word before you can conclude that he was being straight with you.

...and so on.

We need people like Michael Moore.  They help us understand how low we can go.

You could have just said I'm as right as Moore.  Man, are you long winded! ;)

Where are all the other lawsuits?

Dude, seriously.  Look it up.  2 lawsuits were filed for stuff in F911.  If you're as "interested" as you claim to be, find it.  I don't remember what his movie before that one was, but there was at least one instance I've read about a lawsuit for "facts" in that one as well.

I stand on the fact that no one can argue that he's fat, an ass-hat, and if I sued him for being a liar and had the right jury, I could win.  ;D

That being said, you ignored the larger point that suing him doesn't prove him to be right or wrong, but that you were able to convince a jury of your position.  I could take a poll of a jury I'd assemble from members here, if you'd like a demonstration of that.

i just wish he weren't so fat, wore good clothes with a good haircut, and shaved everyday.  i can't watch his films.  i just realized he sounds like drew carrey.  he needs to hire a hot chick to do the dirty work.

You could sue him, but you couldn't win.  Your case would be dismissed out of hand because you have no standing.  That is, unless MM said something specifically about you in one of his movies that wasn't true.  Which I doubt.
