Oops! Murdoch newspaper admits Kojo Annan claims untrue.
« on: November 11, 2005, 01:56:29 pm »
In another blow to Rupert Murdoch's credibility (was there ever any to begin with?), the brilliant mind behind Fox "Fair and Balanced" News, has had his arse handed to him in court.

http://feeds.bignewsnetwork.com/?sid=ee23ced5e6d9ad41

"Rupert Murdoch's Sunday Times newspaper in London has been forced to retract claims it made about Kojo Annan, the son of the UN secretary general.

The paper which made a number of allegations about Annan in relation to the United Nations oil-for-food program now admits the claims were untrue. The Sunday Times will pay Annan an undisclosed sum in damages. The newspaper has also publicly apologised to Annan."
