hey guys,

i just need some scratches photoshopped off of a scan i have of a marquee i'm using.

Photoshop 5 onwards has the ability to remove scratches under Filters-NOISE-Dust and Scratches.

The problem you will find is that it will reduce the quality of your image so you will need to make adjustments very localised to stop that. This may then make the image look a bit pot holely with parts adjusted and parts not.

My best advice would be to try doing the whole image if thats possible or simply use the image as a source and trace and vectorise it in Adobe Illustrator.

Of course vectoring it will create THE best version as if it were brand new.

well, i've gotten a few offers today, so no worries there.  as for the vectorization of the file, i'd love that, but don't have the time or money to fund this vectorization.

The file has been cleaned up... hit the high points. it could still use a little obsessive cleaning, but it will at least stand up better under casual inspection now.

OH, I also ran a little sharpening, color adjusting. You can always shift the color back down, but it seemded really cloudy / muddy. this new version is a lot more vivid.
