Why do people never read description?

I recently sold some laptop parts off on ebay (as scrap), I listed exactly what was included in the auction and the condition (item no 6807734295 if anyone wants to see the full thing)

also added the following text to the description so there could be no mistakes...

These laptops both display the same symptoms when you apply power in that all Leds come on, but there is no life from screen or hard drive when they are attached. the board with the 366 chip attached did work and then went faulty when it was attached to a dubious docking station. Both motherboards have 64mb of memory built in.

 There is No screens / hard drives / caddies / extra memory / psu or batteries with these, they are sold purely for SPARE PARTS, What you see in the photos is what you will get.


Now the person has the parts I got this through as a message...

its saysin your add that they come with 2 lots of 64meg memmery but there wasnt any with it,can u let me know if your add was wrong or u u just forgot to put it in the box as the mem was the main resson i bid on the item to upgrade the laptop i already have.

can anyone else say whether they understand that the memory is part of the boards and there are no seperate memory modules, or that they read it as there is seperate memory modules and I have explained myself badly.

Sounds like a typical end-end-user.

Wouldn't worry about it as the description seems pretty clear cut.

And he's twice as stupid for buying an entire laptop to upgrade his memory.

not just one laptop.... 2 of them (boards were completeley shot, fault was southbridge) they were sold off so that someone esle could make use of the keyboard / case plastics or cpu's rather than me just chucking em in the bin. they only went for
