My First Machine.
« on: November 07, 2005, 07:54:27 pm »
Picked up this badboy at the Starburst Coin Machines Arcade Auction on November 5th, 2005. Located in Toronto, Ontario.

$50 CDN For it! Currently has sportsmatch in it.. crap game. And the monitor plays beautifully.

$50 CDN...  What's that, like $75 US these days? :P

Looks like you got a great deal.  A good monitor's worth at least that much, and the cab looks in good shape, and has a lot of potential.

Great deal.  Looks like a good monitor and coin door.  Cab also looks in good shape.

What are you going to do with it?

I plan on putting a MK2 board in there for awhile and get some other jamma games like Double Dragon, Wrestlefest and Ninja Turtles.

Scott, just so you know, that cab is a "cut corner" style generic Dynamo.

Don't feel obligated to keep it as Mortal Kombat.

Erm, no, it's more like $35 US.  The US dollar is worth more, not less.

Anyway, there's nothing quite like that first cab excitement in this hobby.  What are you going to put in it?  It's standard JAMMA, yes?
