Are the SATs an effective measurement of a student's intelligence and more important in applying to college than transcripts or other information?

Ha, I remember the SATs... I showed up drunk from the night before and covered in sand from having passed out on the beach... ran through it like Mexican food... got the results, was like OMGWTFHOVERCRAFT... 1400+...

Easiest... test... ever...
