"sushi is nasty fish."
Not true. Sushi only implies it contains rice prepared with a seasoned vinegar.
Although some of the best sushi I've eaten is fish, my wife is fond of california rolls. Seaweed, rice, fake crab legs, cream cheese, mebbe a sliver of green onion.
I've had to learn to make it to support her habit - it was getting expensive to keep buying at the sushi bar.
It costs me ~$10 to make 8 rolls, or 48 pieces. That would cost me ~$50.00 at the restaurant.
Then again, GOOD sushi shefs are fairly high-paid professionals. I understand they spend at least a year just learning how to prepare rice.
EDit: Nothing wrong with pizza, beer, and nekkid women tho.
