Launching Dreamcast games
« on: November 02, 2005, 07:15:54 am »
Hi Everyone

Just to let you know that I have written an wrapper to launch chankast the way you want from your cabinet (Full screen, auto mounting of images etc.)

Unfortunately it dosn't work with MameWah fully yet, since it dosn't launch shortcuts with command line parameters. Hopefully this will be resolved soon.

Chankast Launch

EDIT: chankast is a dreamcast emulator btw

Let me know if you want a WIP version of Mamewah to try it with...alternatively I will probably release b8 soon as my coding has grinded to a halt for the moment.

Sure, just send it to my e-mail (I sent an email to your hotmail address --BINGO! Either that, or I was attempting to say "before" but it was too many letters to type--, so you can reply to that)

Also, hoping you will reply to my other thread about MameWah

youki

Hi,

In the documentation of AtomicFE , there is a tutorial how to configure chankast with my front end.

it uses some existing warpers.  and it works.

I think it can be applied to Mamewah too.

And how well does this emu run? I would love to have streetfighter 3 on my cab - what system specs are required?...

Its not an emu, but a wrapper for an emu... go to Chanka to download the emu... then visit EmuTalk if you need help.

EDIT: This is a damn good emu, but the compatibility can be seen on the last link. Did someone mention Soul Calibur... oh yeahhh!

Unfortunately.. this seems like a dead emu.

Too bad... it showed such great promise.
