Adjusting game options
« on: October 31, 2005, 09:35:34 pm »
Hi,

I had MAME on my computer several years ago.  Although I also downloaded some games that were re-written programs that mimicked the original games.  So I'm having trouble remembering...

Does Asteroids on MAME allow for things like varying the number of shots on the board, how far they travel, how frequently 'Wally' and 'Beaver' show up (the UFO's that shoot at you)?  Or am I remembering a different version of Asteroids?

I clicked around on the "Options" to change things in the game, but I didn't see it there.  But I'm not sure that I've seen all the hidden screens that are available.

I'm trying to learn more about MAME, I'm not just wasting time playing games.

Honest!

Thanks,

TAD

Try the 'Dip Switches' section of the Tab menu.
