Mini Mods!
« on: October 29, 2005, 01:16:06 pm »
Greetings all!...as always, I can't help myself and feel that I have to "keep improving" my "modules".

So here they are!....my dual XArcade (HEAVILY modified by me!) upgraded with the Ball Tops from Groovy Game Gear--

http://tinyurl.com/deoq4

Below is my Robotron Controller and my Cocktail cab that I upgraded with a Emerald Green ball top.

As silly as it sounds...I think my score in Robotron went up since I modded the sticks!..... who knows....but they feel a lot more authentic now to me!

Any hoo enjoy the pics!...and just as an aside Groovy Game Gear got the order and shipped in under 3 days. Good guys over there.

Seriously. Will it fit in my basement or what?

Have you explained in another thread why you chose to go with the X-arcade controls instead of building custom control panels?

If not, can you talk a little bit about your decision?

I remember this one from a while ago. He keeps make interchangeable parts.

He said, "WHY WHY WHY the XArcade??.....because I love the ability to swap that panel out w/my steering wheel; trackball etc....and ESPECIALLY it's ability to perfectly/easily interface w/XBox and Dreamcast." From here: http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=22665.0

What's the black bit of the stick shafts?

....I was wondering when someone would ask that.

That's from the original XArcade bat handle. Without it, the shaft of the handle didn't fit the XArcade disk (at the bottom of the shaft) well.....so I left this "spacer" on to make a neater fit.

Seriously. Will it fit in my basement or what?
