are there any decent TVs to look out for? (UK)
« on: September 04, 2006, 11:56:39 am »
i'm using a 29" Sony KV-X2972U (ArcadeVGA and home made SCART lead) for my dedicated emulation box, this TV is really starting to show it's age, the left hand side of the screen is blurry as hell (whatever the technical term is) so i'm going to look for a new one.

there's not a lot of choice anymore when it somes to 4:3 CRTs so i was wondering if anyone could recommend a model, it's going to be purely for MAME and so on.

i think it's a convergence problem, although i've opened it up and found the H.STAT/V.STAT i'm worried about getting fried or at least making the problem worse  :-\
