Another eBay Scam email...
« on: October 23, 2005, 10:54:13 am »
I just received this...

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi,

I am contacting you regarding a deal on eBay. I am a new user and i have 0
feedback. Iwould like to know if you can help me selling an item on ebay because
i saw you have
a positive feedback.I am asking this because i am afraid i could get scammed,
since i am a new user. In exchange i will pay you 20% from the total amount, in
case my item will be sold.If you agree let me know and i will provide you the
pictures and the details of my product.

Email me back if you agree.

Thanks

Chris

Nice. I wonder if the item for sale will be a palace in Nigeria.
Now in a tasty new flavour.

Tell him sure, just send the item(s) over to you and you'll be happy to sell them on e-bay.  Once you receive payment from the buyer you'll happily forward the money (less your 20%).

Yeah, he's afraid of being scammed, so he goes an contacts a complete stranger to help him sell something. That makes sense.
NO MORE!!
