big advmame probs :(
« on: January 18, 2003, 06:30:02 pm »
I have BIG problems using advancedmame with geforce2MX400.

I have constructed a working VGA2TV adapter. As I have tried it
successfully with simple dosmame and "-monitor pal" option.
So i decided to use advgmame for perfect picture.

First. I read "install.txt" and set in my advmame.rc:
-----
display_mode auto
display_adjust x

device_video_pclock 5 - 50
device_video_hclock 15.62, 15.73
device_video_vclock 49 - 61
-----

then i saved. and entered advv.exe

well... when i pick a mode. The computer just goes blank and freezez.
even thou its supported in the "SVGALINE" line drivers.

So i tried with vbelinedrivers.
Unfortunately.. my card isnt supported there.
I tried ADVV anyways. And well.. it works somewhat.. but the picture is often screwed. And I cant get it to work properly.

Normal low palres like 320-244 flashes constantly. And when using interlace(which isnt supported by the card) the refreshrate lokks good with a stable pictrue.. but it is split and weird in the middle.

Any suggestions? Anyone got the svgaline drivers to work properly with this gfxcard?
