I'm pretty sure that my use of the word craptacular predates The Simpsons. Not that it isn't a made up word, I just don't think that was made up by the creators of that show.

My wife and her friend say "ginormous" a lot to refer to large things.  For this reason I have started using "egantic" when I'm around them.  I used to use "recoculous" but I've forgotten about that one.
