USB Console Adapters
« on: October 18, 2005, 12:46:59 pm »
I am thinking of putting some ports on the front of my cab for consoles(Atari/NES/SNES/etc..)  and I was wondering if it's ok to leave the adapters plugged in all the time, or is it best to just run USB ports to the front and then plug in the adapters on the cabinet.

In your opinion, on the front of a cab, USB ports, or specified console adapter ports?

Thanks.

It depends what you want/need to have on the front of your cab. I myself am going to have both (USB Ports and adapters) on a new CP im making for my cab. I want USB ports so I can plug my memory card reader or any other USB device into my cab, as the PC in my Cab is the only one I have and so I often need to plug in various peripherals.

I have also made some console adapter plates:-

I could just plug the adapters into the mouted USB hub on my cab but this method will look neater (and more bling
