Well, I got GameEX running again - it wanted my Mame exe in the same folder as my Roms (this I just don't understand).  But the sound is wonky again.  Even using the newest MAME exe.

Anybody else have a solution for sound that skips, is garbled and repeats on a relatively high processor machine??  Even with old games?

Again - help is greatly appreciated,
Astrxs

My only advice is to concentrate on getting Mame to run properly first (before running it thru a FE)...make sure you are using mame.ini and play around with some sound settings if neccessary.  Run from a commandline until you are happy with it and then try launching it from a FE.
