Why is mame running twice as fast as usual?
« on: October 16, 2005, 01:40:47 am »
I have been making mame movies, and I messed up my settings.  Could someone give me the heads up as to what I need to change?  Thanks,
McCoy178

Try renaming mame.ini to mame.ini.sav and see if it runs okay. It looks like you are using mostly defaults anyway.
I have changed my nickname to "Cakemeister". Please do not PM the Buddabing account because I do not check it anymore.

Please read the wiki!

I restarted my computer, and it seemed fine.  Thanks for the reply.

If MAME runs too fast, it's usually because "Throttle" has been turned off.  By default, you do this with the F10 key.  I know I've hit it by accident when playing with the buttons nearby (screengrab (F12) and auto frameskip (F11)).
