It looks like a large number of arcade publishers are making Xbox 360 Live Arcade games: Atari, Midway, Namco, Konami, Sega, Capcom, SNK Playmore... it all sounds great to me.

Not Only is it going to be Arcade Games.. but CONSOLE Games too.

Nintendo doesnt have that feature edge anymore.

They won't have Nintendo first party games, likely... nor FREE Nintendo first party games...

...Nintendo claims they will have that.

We'll see.

I am not so optimistic about it. The Xbox Live Arcade crap they peddled this generation was a crock of poo.

They had some nifty games, but they were all WAY overpriced. Espeically for the kinds of games that can be played free on the PC.

So far, things are looking positive, with the interface more streamlined and the games are looking good. The price is the only wild card... but I'm hoping it's cheap.

Nintendo never said it was going to be free......

Actually, I'm pretty sure that they said it wasn't going to be free, in response to all the "free" rumors on the internet.  It's a mistake, if you ask me.  They're an underdog.  They should make 'em free just to move units.

Wasn't the whole "it's going to be free" the basis for half the Revolution thread?

Yes.  And Nintendo's announcement that they weren't going to be free was probably a response to that thread.

So I was right when I refused to believe it, and people told me I was being stupid.

Nice.
