TAC - Tony's Arcade Cabinet
« on: October 11, 2005, 08:07:27 pm »

Still isn't finished, but I figured I'd make a topic for it anyway.
I plan on getting artwork done this week. Oh and that pic doesn't have the lexan in it.

Comments greatly appreciated!

Isn't that a converted pacman cabinet?

The machine was first Ms. Pac-man, but then it was converted to American Horseshoes. The distributor I got it from was gonna destroy it because it didn't work right (monitor was going bad and power supply was goofed up) so I decided to redo it as a custom cabinet. The PCB is in fine condition and the artwork is decent too (for American Horseshoes, can't find any remains of Pac-man), if any wants it PM me.

I noticed that you state on your webpage that your CP needs artwork underneath it. Got any ideas yet? If not, *I am in the market of designing custom CP graphics and layouts for people (*whoring noise) ^_^

Yeah.... I already designed the overlay, you can find it here (although I did change it a bit). Thanks for the offer though!

Actual website for cabinet coming soon...

It would be neat if you could somehow incorporate the shapes of the speakers into the marquee area of the cabinet with a custom shaped marquee cutout. They look kind of cool shaped and positioned like that.

Yeah it would but....
1. those speakers probably aren't permanent
2. I'm 15.... it's hard enough trying to get the thing finished

Thanks for the comment though!

Finished making the box to go under the control panel:

Here's a temporary page listing what I have left to do.
