TV starts on tuner and need s-video
« on: October 11, 2005, 12:29:20 pm »
I found this KLH tv that has a pretty good s-video picture and works great otherwise, but when the TV is turned on, it always goes to the tuner first.

I was thinking about making a switch that would push the video button 4  times when the tv is first powered on, but I am not sure what the best way to accomplish this is. Does anyone have any suggestions?

The button is a simple normally open button. I would just need circuit that would close the button 4 times after receiving power then stop. I can supply a 3.3, 5 or 12 volt source.

I used a 24" KLH TV in my cabinet and a friend used a 24" Apex TV in his - turns out they are essentially the same unit.
