First time using Paypal to Recieve Money....
« on: October 10, 2005, 05:13:29 pm »
Okay, I just started using Paypal to Accept money for ebay
sales... Is there anything I have to do when the money I
was transferred is showing up as a Balance on my
activity screen?  Is there something else I need to do
to push the Balance out to my credit card, or will it
automatically happen?

Doh!
...so I will ask you... "Deal, or No Deal?"

Not sure if you can send a balance to a credit card.

I usually wait till a balance builds up then transfer it to a bank account I've set up specifically for paypal use.

You have to verify the account first, usually by telling paypal the specifics of two small deposits they make.

You can probably leave the balance in paypal and spend it from there without too much difficulty.

But wasn't it fun to think you won the lottery, just for a second there???

you can either just spend it from paypal online, or if you want real money you will have to add your checking account to your paypal and transfer it to there

they could drop the balance onto a debit card and mail it to you as well.

Yeah they charge a flat rate of $1.50 if you want them to send you a check.  If you don't have a bank account on your paypal account then the max you can withdraw each month is $500.  I usually wait till I have $500 in my account before I have them mail me a check that way I get the most out of the $1.50.

I just spend it on something else before it has a chance to gather dust. I hate for my money to get bored. ;)
