I noticed yesterday at Fry's that the Warriors DVD was on their "new release" shelf.  Was browsing the PSP section at iGN later on and noticed this game.  It's interesting - you don't often see movie tie-in games for 25+ year old movies.

Wonder if it'll be any good...

"Warriors!  Come out and plaay-aaayy!"
"All right. It's Saturday night. I've got no date, a two liter bottle of Shasta, and my all Rush mix tape. Let's rock!"

I'm gonna have to wait until someone else buys it and tells me that it's good. I hope it's not a quick grab for cash.

Speaking of tie-ins for really old movies, a Godfather game is coming out soon. It's one of my favorite movies, so I'll probably buy that one. Sadly, it's EA, so there's strong possiblity it's going to be crap. They did get James Caan & Marlon Brando to do some voice acting for it though.

What a shame now you won't see the screen shots.

here's a summory:

Rockstar games is recreating the classic movie into a video game.

and the sreenshots were awesome

Heck, why bother renting it? You should buy it, it's cheap.

Can you dig it?!

They have re-released it it's now in the new movies section with the un-cheap price.

Oh, I missed the part about Rockstar publishing it. That ups it's chances of being good by quite a lot.

Let's get to it boppers! Just hit up any game site, like GameSpot. Lots of screen shots there...

By the way, the game was developed in Canada, so don't get your hopes too high.  ;D
