Mini Bartop Project has begun **********
« on: October 10, 2005, 12:00:36 am »
I picked up a dead bartop poker machine at a pawn shop for dirt cheap.

It has a 10" Hantarex CGA monitor which works perfectly. I am planning on bumping it up to a 13" VGA monitor though. That way I don't have to run an arcade VGA card.(Although Dragon's Lair would probably look really cool on a 10")

The cabinet itself is in near mint condition. I think I am going to leave the old school woodgrain laminate intact and make some classic themed side art for it.

Just thought I would announce it since it makes me feel like I am accomplishing something.

Peace.

I assume (and hope) this is going to be a one-player machine ;)
