Lucky Sunshine Monitors - Anyone used them?
« on: October 07, 2005, 09:22:36 pm »
Hello everyone,

While searching for a less expensive path to beautiful video, I stumbled over this site- and doing a quick search on here didn't get me any hits for their monitors.

Well, it's been quite a while since I got this quote (1 year), but here's what was said:

----CLIP----

Thank you for your inquiry and for visiting our website LuckySunshine.com, and I am happy to assist you.

The VGA monitor model number and prices are shown below:

Wow! :o Really interesting.

Looks like these are Wei-Ya monitors. I had already seen their site, but had no info or idea on where to get one.

For example the M2929-82 model, which belongs to the M29XX series, has OSD & 15-38 KHz horizontal scan range (48 KHz optional?). Nice. That is the regular 29" unit. There's a M2929D-72 model, with a flat ("Dynaflat") tube. Also looks like the last two digits of the model numbers specify the dot pitch in hundreds of milimeter. Wonder how much the Dynaflat would cost. Still, $415 for the regular one is quite a deal. But remember the D9200 costs $459.90 after online purchase discount (3%); and the Betson Imperial 27" (aka Kortek KT-2914) is $469.90. All these monitors use 29" tubes.

I'll have to contact them aswell.

Cheers

They are a distributor of Wei-Ya monitors and they have two USA offices. One in New York and the other in California.

Huh, anyone able to provide me with a contact email for these people at Lucky Sunshine?
The links on the "Contact Us" section of their webpage don't work :(
