Anyhoo I won't be repeating myself. Irish members of the board know that RTE is not some tiny 'pbs' station like you think it is and is in fact the largest station in this country, with no affiliation or leanings to the right wing dirt in the states.

Then why have you NEVER given us ANYTHING from this supposed bastion of unbiased reporting?  Why, when you supposedly have been blessed with this shining example of "differing" from my medai?  Why is it that you are so fortunate, yet run with the stories you do that are proven to be false?

The "you are a flaming idiot" exists because you still hope against hope that you're correct in your assumption that your media IS unbiased, when even your brothers-in-arms don't defend your hope.  Demonstrate your mental aptitude by giving us some of these beautiful gems of reporting you're privy to.  We'd all LOVE to see 'em.  I have a sneaking suspicion, though, that the lack of bias you see is only demonstrated in stories about the local dogcatcher.  Unless he's a conservative.

I do it to poke fun at someone who gives us false and fake stories and hasn't run them through his bias-detecting media.  I find it the funniest thing in the world that you believe what you do about your media but post the things you do.  For someone who holds himself out as one who's smart enough to "know" he's right, you sure do seem to have believed in some "Easter Bunny" and "Tooth Fairy" stories.

C'mon.  Post us the story from your unbiased media debunking your initial posting.  It's GOT TO be there, since they'd want to get the story straight, right?  Perhaps you can write 'em a letter and have 'em look into how you got duped so easily.

During the invasion of iraq they showed reports from cbs/fox and al jazeera, as well as various international reporters. We saw the real deal.

The fact that it is state owned is exactly why it cannot be unbiased. 

The notion of an unbiased media outlet, in the modern world, is obsolete anyway.  There is no such thing as unbiased news anymore.

The problem is usually in detecting exactly what the bias happens to be for a given news outlet.

I feel sorry for anyone that cannot see past the corruption of their own media and grasp the fact that independence still exists.

Heres some proof. The irish government itself is giving the same station flak for showing a program clled 'rip off republic' that did not show them in a good light.

My unbiased reporting has ALWAYS referred to the RTE television station in Ireland. But please, don't let a little thing like that, or any other facts get in the way of your pettiness. Please continue, your predictability sustains me.....LOL!
