johnny5 problem
« on: October 05, 2005, 11:10:11 pm »
hello all... Im trying to get Johnny5 working with the gpwiz 49 way encoder.  Im not talking about the mode switching, imtalking about the buttons.  Ive got all the values set up correctly, but my button config in mame is strange because Im using joy_button0 through joy_button21 or some other high number.  Anyway, none of these inputs will show up in johnny five.  If I go into mame and change button 1 to be 'x' then show x in the layout it works fine, just not for the joystick buttons.  Any ideas?

Look at the other j5 threads in this fourm.  One goes over exactly this thing.

I appreciated all the questions/comments posted to this forum, but it's a lot easier to manage if you guys post over at fe.donkeyfly.com
