Yeah it is basically just a Giant R1 button.  You just plug it into controller port 1 for player 1 and if you are playing 2 player split screen or John Woo style then you plug the second one into controller port 2.  I think it kind of sucks that they make you press both pedals at the same time to reload when playing John Woo style.

talkingoctipus,ok so you are saying its not supposed to be R1 ?? Well it is anyway to change it something ?? Can you a take a picture of the inside for me cuz maybe I might have to resolder the wires on that little PCB inside.

spiffy, its not working but the pedal seems to work I tried with a ps to usb converter and it registers as R1 button.Any in game settings I need to change from time crisis 2 ?

Have you tried useing just a regular DualShock controller?  You should be able to press any button on the controller while playing to have it act like the foot pedal.  If you can't get a regular controller to work then it is probably your PS2.

I paid $40 each for my pair of pedals and they have been well worth the money. I jst need to pick up a pair of recoil pistols to complete my PS2 cab.

Time Crisis just isn't the same without the pedals.
