OMG i get to hang out with Halifax tomorrow night

Ok so Im a real big fan of this band Halifax, theyre not that well known yet but theyre getting there, doin shows all over the place , got a CD out. Well theyre working on their new CD this month and theyre recording in NJ, they sent out a email to their "street team" which im on, basicly they email me flyers every so often and i pass em out. and yeah chris and doug emailed their cell numbers to the team and said if anyone wants to chill theyre gonna be in NJ recording for a couple weeks. So i call chris this afternoon, no answer, left a message. I was like ah well it was probably too good to be true, probbaly getting mad phone calls.

so i tried dougs number, he answers. im like whoa, so yeah we talked for like 5 min he told me to come up there tomorrow or thurs night and we will hit some bars and ---steaming pile of meadow muffin---. so im like wow this rules. so im in the process of telling my friend this on the phone, and the other line beeps in, chris is calling me back. im like whoa wtf!  tring my best not to act like a giddy schoolgirl i talked to chris for a few min and told him i talked to doug and hes like yeah totally come up tomorrow man, itll be badass. I met chris at a show once hes an awesome guy, really nice.

but anyway yeah, just had to tell someone that cause im all excited now

I listened to one of their songs 'Sidney' and I wasn't too wow'd it sounded very 'garage band-ish'. Maybe I'll try one of their other songs. Hopefully they wont have their picture on the CD
