STARTING OVER (w/ MameanalogXP v81 step 1)
« on: September 24, 2005, 06:50:52 pm »
Hello everyone (and thanks for reading and putting up)

Starting over from my mamewah post (I didn't even post in the right place so I'll see you on the mamewah site in a min ( few days)

Downloaded Mame81 again. New folder. New everything.

I noticed a plain vanilla mame folder doesn't have all the other stuff that a mame32 one has (no duh right?...). After expanding the mame81b.zip I got:

artwork (folder)
ctrlr (folder)
docs (folder)
roms (folder)
samples (folder)
chdman (exe)
mame (exe)
romcmp (exe)
what's new (txt)
what's old (txt)
xml2info (exe)

and that's it. No snap, no titles, etc. (don't know what to do with those old folders from my screwed up version of mame81 -I suppose I don't need to worry about that right now.

Well, I already clrmamed up from 78 to 81. So I imported my:

Roms
artwork
samples
mameanalogXP.exe (v81) and tossed out mame.exe (v81)

Question 1:
I guess these are the only things I can really salvage/import from my old screwed up directory?

THANKS IN ADVANCE
bare with me I'll get this licked yet!!!
