Just a question for those of you who chose to stay. What's the weather like right now? How many other people are you seeing that chose to stay? Just curious about what the conditions are like at the moment. Again, you guy have my sincerest wishes for you & your families to stay safe.

Well true, and there are also a ton of news sites that I've been checking every now & then all day. I just wanted to hear a report from a real person who's actually there.

I rarely check this board on weekends, but I'll check tomorrow & Sunday for sure this weekend. Hope you BYOACers down there stay high & dry.

There aren't too many people here on the weekends and sadly that's when I have the most time to be here.....

We had no major problems. Winds were lighter than expected as was the rain. The yard man will have us ship-shape in no time.

I haven't had any power at my house since 2:30 am Saturday morning. The wife is getting a bit cranky from lack of air conditioning, and the kids really want their computers back. The kids also got four days off from school, Thursday, Friday, Monday, and Tuesday.

I'm posting this from work, since my UPSes don't have nearly enough juice to have lasted this long.

I have changed my nickname to "Cakemeister". Please do not PM the Buddabing account because I do not check it anymore.

Please read the wiki!

I was thinking about you guys down there when the storm made landfall. I was certainly relieved to see the worst of it miss Houston. Looks like you made a good call, glad it worked out that way.
