Where is Mame.ini?
« on: September 22, 2005, 01:33:20 am »
I'm using Mame99b and I need to "tell MAME to run games in 640x480" in order to get video output to my TV via component video.  This is according to other threads.

Problem is I don't have a MAME.ini file anywhere that I can find.  Any hints?

[update]  Found it.  see below.

Nevermind... I got it.  :)
For posterity in case anyone searches for this in the future...

The mame.ini file can be generated by MAME simply by running this command:

mame -cc

...as spelled out in the docs.
