Identifying a chassis part & Monitor

I just got a used monitor.

I can't find any markings that would hint at what manufacturer it's from. (It's a vertical mount monitor, and the tube has Popeye burn-in, so that tells me the tube was swapped, and therefore the information sticker on the tube is also irrelevant).

The closest thing to markings on the board are the letters 'DIP'.

So anyways, the monitor works but has waviness to it. I have not inspected beyond a cursory glance, but one thing that I immediately noticed is there is this "coil" thing on the bottom circuit board that seems to be unravelling. (It's loose enough that it wobbles when the monitor is moved).

The coil is made of reddish wire. What is this part called? And what role does it play?

Almost looks like a horizontal width coil.  Hard to tell with that blurry picture. 

Can you take a picture of the entire chassis for identification purposes?

That's a width coil.

You have some sort of an 'oddball' monitor. It's not a Wells-Gardner, but it would appear to be some kind of Japanese or Korean manufacture.

On the right hand side of the frame I can see labels under the dust.  Can you clean them off?  Are they readable?

Those dusty labels are just voltage warnings.

I asked the seller what cab this got pulled from. Waiting on an answer.

I've been told that it's probably an Eastern Micro 201. Does that ring a bell with anyone?

... and there don't seem to be any cap kits for this monitor.

For my caps i just write out the list and make up my own from sayal electronics (there's one in waterloo i believe)  While not as cheap as one of bob's kits since you can't buy the caps individually, its still not that much over.

I tracked down the guy who sold it to the guy who sold it to me. He then sent me a link to a PDF manual. And sure enough, looks like the same monitor.

hey, someone pointed out that my board looks eerily similar to the one you have.
It looks the same to me....pretty darn close.
take a look if you don't mind and tell me what you think...though the neckboard is definitely different, i think it is a match
would it be possible for me to get the pdf file you have?

YUP! Looks the same.
Your H coil looks different. Either mine should look like yours, or yours is missing something...

Thing is I don't know how many models there were or if "201" is the common one used in arcade games. Keep this in mind.
