Isolation Transformer Hook-Up Question
« on: September 17, 2005, 10:46:49 am »
I have an Iso transformer that I need to hook up to my monitor chassis.

There is a Primary and a secondary.  Which side do I need to hook to the monitor and which side do I hook to the AC power?

The primary says: 120V 60Hz

The Secondary says: 120V 1A

Also, how do you know which is neutral and which is hot? Or does it matter?
