Networkable Mame roms?

I haven't seen any yet, but wouldn't that be cool if you could have a 2 player game over the net with some of the old classic roms?  One person on one arcade box, and another on theirs....

You can. Older versions of xmame for linux allowed this. Look for versions prior to the input rewrite (somewhere below .84).

There are networked windows versions floating around. There's also at least one version that violates the MAME license, so steer clear of that one.

I play Joust with my friends online (who have cabinets as well) all the time. It's FABULOUS!

Is kaillera dead?  Website doesn't come up.  Do a search for Kaillera mame, you will find it somewhere.
