There's a Dreamcast version. And I'm pretty sure there's a MAME version too. A quick search shows a ROM for "Mr. Driller 2". So you may not need to eBay the PSX game.

Great game and adapts to a cabinet perfectly.

Thanks for the reply, but i already have Mr.Driller for both the PC and DC.

The PC version looks like it was made to be in a cab, it's abandonware so you can get it at the Underdogs: http://www.the-underdogs.org/game.php?id=3323

I'm specifically looking for Mr.Driller G (stands for Great), mr Driller A, or Mr Driller 2 since these have two player vs. modes.

There is a Mr. Driller 2 ROM, but it's only partially dumped. Gurudumps comment:

Added to MAME but not working yet.

I have a Mr. Driller G jamma pcb (best and latest of the series), and love it so much I bought another just to get all the arcade artwork that came with it.  So if anyone else is interested (I know you said your cab isn't jamma compatible) I am looking to sell my spare board.

you can always get a dreamcast or psx emulator and buy the game.  I run actual psx discs through epsxe.

I never really tried.  but can you take your ps cds and burn them to iso's using standard software... then run them through epsxe?

I've only used it with real disks.  (and I just got another 80gig drive on my cabinet so I have some space).  Might be good for a few games.

Is the JAMMA version you have in English, or is it also only released in Japanese?

Only released in Japan.  So that just means the story stuff is Japanese, everything else has english (plus internet ranking).

I just took a screenshot of the ISO running in ePSXe:

This version is mostly in Japanese, but I just found a good translation/FAQ for the game, so no biggie.
