What's your GHOULS n GHOSTS frame rate?

I'm running an AMD 1ghz with 256 megs ram, through straight DOS; Dos MAME 0.78

Ghouls n Ghosts won't run at full frame rate, while most everything else I've tested so far runs at 60/60.

Can someone with a 1ghz try it out so we can see if the processor is just too slow? I'm not sure what else i can do to speed it up. This system runs 1990's Neo Geo games at full speed no problem, so it seems strange that GnG runs slow.

Try it in Windows, there's a good chance it will run quicker.
