Signed up for 2 classes totally last minute, actually missed the first one cause it was going on as i was signed up. worked it out so i only have 1 day of classes a week, its gonna be a long ass day though. work 830-330, philosophy 4-640, art history 7-940. i took them cause they fit in my schedule and they count for "humanities credits" which i need 9 of no matter what i do. havnt decided on a major or anything yet. leaning toward something with media/music. like audio mastering or video editing, kind of stuff. its definately weird being in a classroom again

Yep... good stuff, though you probably could have picked humanities that will make you want to stab yourself in the face with a chainsaw a bit less.

yeah well it was basicly that or taking english and miss more work time, this way im only losing 1 hour of work which i will just make up staying late another day. but english sucks anyway, art history really isnt that bad its the only one ive been to yet but basicly being a musician a lot of the stuff theyre talking about like "messages" and meanings in art and whatnot relates a lot to music so im picking it up easy. should be a cake class

I took a couple different Art History classes, both of which I enjoyed quite a bit. Philosophy did indeed induce thoughts involving a chainsaw.

Oh, it will be cake, but they'll make you write a couple term papers like they did when I took it. They made each of us go to a museum, anywhere, and choose a painting. Then we had to write 8 pages on the painting. By the end of the paper I was talking about the type of wire they used to hang it.

good for you.....

you need to stay focused on getting it accomplished. I'm currently taking 12 credit hours and have a full time night job. It's rough but it will be worth it when it's all said and done.

Well done mate. It's all to easy to procrastinate or make excuses and take the easy road at the expense of your future.

Working full time and studying takes a great deal of effort and motivation and I applaud you for having both.

Just keep at it and you will be finished before you realize it. The best way to look at it, no matter how old you are, is picture where you are gonna be 4, 6, 8 years from now. Odds are if you do nothing you will be in the same situation you are now. Then think about how fast the last couple of years have gone by. Time will pass faster then you realize. By the way the hummanities were some of my favorite classes.
