Saw Robert Plant last night...

Although he's now well into his 50s, he still sings like he's in a different stratosphere than the rest of us. Mind you, his voice wasn't sharply brilliant as it used to be - age has burnished it down to a mellow glow.  But he could belt them out pretty close to like he used to!

Closing your eyes during the concert, you were almost transported back in time. He played a lot of Zep with his current band, the Strange Sensation including such favourites as Black Dog, Misty Mountain Hop, Gallows Pole, Whole Lotta Love and a few others.

All in all, the show lasted about 1 hour and a half, and good value for money was received. Sigh! Guess thats as close as I'll be to experiencing the Zepellin experience!.

Here he is a little aged...
