I thought being a cheerleader was something for girls (i.e. younger than say 21)? These women look a bit old to be cheerleaders. Or are these the full time pro's for the big teams?

Most of the cheerleaders in this thread are professional NFL cheerleaders. A few are for college teams.

NFL cheerleaders don't get paid.  At least the Patriots' cheerleaders don't.  They get travel expenses covered and they get tons of public appearances through which they can network to something else.

Didn't know that NFL cheerleaders don't get paid. Correction, they are cheerleaders for professional teams.

Dallas cheerleaders get about $8 an hour.  They only work what like 8 or 9 games a year.  And they have to be going to school or have a part-time job or both I believe.  They also take tests on the rules of the game.
