OS taskbar help
« on: September 06, 2005, 11:50:19 pm »
Somebody PLEASE help   :'(

I am running XP and have used the tweakui utility to fix up the desktop/settings.  I minimize the taskbar and get a nice clean desktop but everytime I reboot the taskbar is back and the start up menu opens.  How do I fix this?  Bill Gates.... you suck!

Don't have an answer for that question.

But I run XP(Sp2) and the Front end 'Mame Launcher (MaLa)'.

It hides the taskbar as it launches.

It may help if you turn off themes and use the 'classic' start menu, I'm not sure tho.

Right click on the Start button, select properties, select the "taskbar" tab.

Make sure the box for "Keep the taskbar on top of other windows" is NOT checked.

You should make your frontend as XP shell to completly get rid of windows environments + fast acces,as we always do.
