Dual processors and Mame & Daphne
« on: August 31, 2005, 12:30:32 am »
I recently acquired a dual Atlon MP 1800+ mainboard and processors for free.  I am almost done with my cab but not sure I want to use the dual system for a Mame and Daphne machine.

Would dual processors help out in the newer CHD games that tend to run slow? (For example - Gauntlet Legends)

Any experience or opinions on that?  I know most mame games would run fine on a 500 mhz or slower machine, but wondering if the games that need more power could actually take advantage of a dual processor setup.

Thanks
