and enter 74135 in the zip code field. I'd like to get one of these locally at lunch today, but I'm uanable to access gamestop's site from work. I just want to know which if any of the nearby stores has one in stock. Thanks.

Thanks guys. Do all of those "NO"s mean that that none of thes stores have one in stock? What do the numbers after the store's zip code mean?

Gamestop's inventory accessability is useless. There are stores that haven't been fed into those databases in months, some that never update their stock there... locations are good, but their inventory is not reliable from that application whatsoever.

Gamestop employees are monkeys, calling is nearly as unreliable. I've called, had them set items aside, and when I get there they say "oh, we haven't had that item in stock for weeks".

They're actually affilliated with Blockbuster aren't they? Could be I'm thinking of someone else. I've never actually been inside a gamestop. We have a few real game stores locally, so I'm usually not reduced to this kind of bottom feeding. Sadly I don't think anyone else in town carries this particular item, at least that I'm aware of. I checked the real game stores yesterday.

There aren't many and they are usually located inside a Blockbuster, it's like a roped off section where they sell the worst conditioned items they can find.

Tiny store. Not much in stock at all. Turned out that the item I was after was one of the few things that they actually did have, though they only had one. With regards to the help, it's a good thing that I knew what I wanted, because I'm pretty sure that getting actual help in that store would have been fairly difficult. Not sure whether the guy was mildly retarded or maybe just very stoned. In either case, I'm pretty sure that getting his middle name out of him would have been a stretch.

Anyway, I got what I was after. Stingray likes new toys.

I'm not very good at waiting. I just bought a Gamecube from Gozur (my first, never even played one before) and knowing that the wait would be insufferable, I had to buy another new toy locally to hold me over until the 'Cube arrives.

Yes, I know I'm spoiled, my wife points that out to me often enough.
