Bad solder joints. Possibly a hairline break inside either the vertical size/height pot, vertical hold pot, vertical position pot. Maybe even a hairline crack in the pc board foil traces somewhere. Remember these chassis get shipped from Taiwan to Florida and then to you so there can always be a chance of a fracture in the board or bad solder joint showing up already.
