Mame online play

Does any one know how to get mame to play on-line? I know of Kaillera but is down indefinitely if I am not mistaken. Is there something similar outthere? It be nice to find some competition for fighter games or even sport games. Is this even possible anymore? Do any servers exist and software  ???

Any Kaillera-capable client will search for servers by itself.  You don't need an online list.

Just fire up your client, select netplay, and hit the scan button.  Give it a few minutes to sift through the lists, and then search by ping and connect.

That's the problem I can't find any servers. I'm assuming it is only looking the the Kaillera server list, if that's the case its been down for a long time. So I'm trying to figure out what other servers i can access or find an active server list.

I tried the web page again and was able to see a list here http://www.anti3d.com/topservers/index.php?cat=
