grr ArcadeVGA problems

ok has anyone ran into the problem of the arcadevga card overheating and causing windows to crash?? cause i have and i cant figure out why its gettin so damn hot...i mean very hot...i put a fan right next to it to cool it down but this is only a temp solution...any ideas?
