Why do some games keep high scores and others do not?
« on: August 22, 2005, 02:13:37 pm »
In mame I notice that some of the games like the Williams (Joust, Defender, Robotron) save my high score but others do not.  Is there a way to get others to save the high scores???

                 Thanks....

Some games aren't programmed to save hi scores, or don't have the NVRAM on the board necessary to save scores after power off.

Google "mame hiscore.dat" to learn more about a workaround.
I have changed my nickname to "Cakemeister". Please do not PM the Buddabing account because I do not check it anymore.
