Daphne installation
« on: August 20, 2005, 04:27:00 pm »
 ???Newbie help please...
I have the Daphne program loaded on my computer and I think its close to working, but when I click on a game I get these two error messages.
1-Could not open frame file.
2-Could not initialize laserdisc player.
This is what I did to try to resolve the errors since I think daphne is looking for this stuff in "D"drive, which is my dvd drive and all of this info is on my "C"drive, which is my hard drive-I went to DaphneLoaderPrefs.ini-notepad and changed all of the Mpeg info files from D: to C:
Still getting the same error message.

This link might help: http://www.daphne-emu.com/wiki/index.php?page=DaphneLoader

Go through Daphne-Loader and set player type to 'Virtual'.
Point to where your framefile is located. Note that you may need to edit the framefile to point to where the mpg file is.
