Multiple Emulators in MAMEWAH...how to use wrapper??
« on: November 24, 2005, 10:29:09 am »
I've been using MAMEWAH with MAME only for a while...I tried to get it to work wit DAPHNE and Project64, but I can't...

MAME was easy...it seemed o work almost right away, and was very straight forward...the problem I'm having, is with the other emulators...
I went to the CPViewer website and downloaded the wraper, in file, etc for Project64...I've read the documentation, and tried to get it setup, but I still get nothing...just a black screen...

DAPHNE is similar...I set it up, but when I run it, I get an error screen come up, and I haven't been able to get it to work...I think it's the "commandline_format", that's giving me the problem, but I'm not sure...

I think once I figure out how the wrapper works, I'll be able to setup other emulators fairly easily...and as far as DAPHNE goes, I think it's just a matter of giving it the proper command line...

Can someone (or two, or three), supply me with a copy of their working INI file for DAPHNE, and if someone can suggest a place I can find a tutorial for using a wrapper, I would greatly appreciate it...

I'm not even going to attempt CPViewer yet...Kinda makes a person feel dumb not being able to figure this stuff out...
Thank you...

If you need help with Daphne let me know. It took some fiddling (with the Mamewah ini file before people get any ideas  ;D), but I managed to get it working on my cab.

Here is a link to some stuff I posted recently about it - contains my ini file as well... I have it running in both Mamewah 1.61 & 1.62
