Monitor "forgets" vertical position?
« on: August 14, 2005, 11:32:51 am »
I have a 10" MTC9000 that starts with the picture in a different place nearly everytime I turn the machine on, it doesnt roll, it just stays in the same place which means i have to adjust the controls everytime to get the picture back into the proper place. Also occasionally after being adjusted it will lose sync from time to time, go back to normal, lose sync again (by that i mean the picture rolls) - does this monitor need a capkit? If not, what else would be the trouble?
I'm capping my 20" monitor in a couple days, would be easy to kill two birds with one stone.

Yes it needs a capkit. That is a symptom for sure and Hantarex monitors need billions of capacitors.
