Well it says right on them how many lb they should support reasonably.  I know when I was at my lifting peak, I had a pair of plastic Black and Decker sawhorses I used for bench press spotting.  I would regularly put well over 300lb onto them and they wouldn't even flinch.  I think these are rated to about 800lb.

Looks like they should hold up to 500lbs.  Although I'll admit that they are really cheap looking/feeling.  I couldn't find any other saw horses at our local sears, so I just bought these because they were $13.99 (now on sale for $9.99).  I got to pick a few toys myself with gift cards people gave us as gifts.  Not pictured is the new gas weed wackers...kicks the cr@p out of the old electric one my dad gave me.

.It's a real pain the butt to plan a wedding for almost 300 people...

You're actually involved in that? I just let the wife & mother in law go crazy and tried to remember to say "yes dear" when prompted. Only thing I had to do was show up.

I can't believe you didn't jump in there and tell her you want to have your guys in plaid so that they'd "go" with whatever color she picked for her girls, and you were going to take care of the flowers.

Surefire recipe for "nevermind, I appreciate the help, but I'll take care of the details" ;D

Guess I'm one of the lucky ones. I get along fine with my mother-in-law and with most of the rest of my in-laws for that matter. It's my side of the family that drive us up the friggin' wall.

Dude, if you were smarter and better-looking, I'd SWEAR you were me! ;)

Here, I've got the perfect wedding cake topper for everyone planning on getting married

in ways that you later wish you hadn’t

Funny, I've always thought that you and I might be the same person if it weren't for your wacko politics and my much longer than average...

Took me a second to get what the hell you were talking about there. How about if I skip the wax and go directly for the braid? ;)

Best way to get married--ditch everyone you know, go to vegas, have a good time, get hitched in a small service off the beaten path, return home and tell everyone.  Worked like a charm (married all of 1 month now)  if anyone complains, make a mental note and stop talking to them--we are all old enough that our friends shouldn't be nagging at us for dumb crap like that.--I have long since stop talking to people who create more stress in my life than they release.

By doing this NO ONE can say so and so got preferential treatment--we also saved a boatload of cash that is better spent on mortgages, furniture and other stuff way more important than a one day party that more often than not turns you into enemies rather than happily married.  The whole large wedding thing is WAY over rated in my opinion and you are no better off once its done and almost certainly worse off (financially or inter-personal wise)

Congrats onthe loot--have fun with the old lady and live long and prosper!
its better to not post and be thought a fool, then to whip out your keyboard and remove all doubt...

You can't just stop talking to relatives.  It doesn't work if you see them on a regular basis.

I am extremely happy and have been married for 13 years.  Though, it's only felt like 5.... minutes, under water.

We tied the knot 13 years ago, been swingin from it ever since.

And last but not least.....

A man is not complete until he is married, and then, he is FINISHED.

These were all great words of wisdom shared with me by my Dad who passed away 2 years ago.  He was happily married for 41 years.  I don't know how, seein how he was married to my Mom...  LOL

Thank goodness she doesn't build HER own arcade controls!

Good luck to all, and remember, marriage is largely underrated AND under appreciated.
